Ngwo-ngwo is one of the signature dishes in Igbo land. It is one of a kind dish, i so love this dish because of the meat used, because am a big fan of meats or chickens.

30g pepper

30g corn flour for thickening

3½ liters of water

7 ginger for flavour to taste.

METHOD

1. Cut the meat into small pieces.

2. Wash the meat and place in a medium sized pot.

3. Add water and bring to boil.

4. Add the grinded ingredients.

5. Add the chopped erusi.

6. Mix the corn flour with a little water and add to soup.

7. Allow to cook for another 30 minutes until meat is tender.

8. Correct seasoning and serve hot. This is a hot pepper soup and could beaten with boiled plantain.

DISH ACCOMPANIMENTS.

This dish can be accompanied by palm wine.

The palm wine is a local drink that is gotten from palm trees and it tastes delicious.
